Children Change Colombia Fiesta

By bogotapost March 17, 2016

Children change ColombiaChildren Change – the largest UK charity in Colombia – are organising a party to celebrate their work, the start of Semana Santa, and hopefully to also raise a bit of cash along the way.

The event will take place at one of Zona Rosa’s hip new bars, La Postal, on Saturday March 19, from 6.30pm.

You can expect to find the Children Change Colombia team there, as well as their patron Royal Ballet Soloist Fernando Montaño plus live music fom the New York-Colombian Paul Santiago Trio.

The charity work in partnership with local organisations to help children and families who have lived on the street, been displaced by the conflict or have escaped armed groups to escape inequality and violence. They supported almost 50,000 children in 2014.

You can buy tickets in advance at $15,000 including a free drink by emailing eventos@childrenchangecolombia.org before Friday. Or buy them on the door for $20,000.
