Life in Colour, the world’s largest paint party, also lands in the capital on October 3.
Glaswegian rock superstars Franz Ferdinand hit the stage on October 5, while French trip-hop star Wax Tailor comes to Bogota to play three unique shows with the National Symphony Orchestra (October 9-11). Rounding off the bonanza are Calle 13, who are offering a free download of their latest album as part of the ticket price.
There’s culture galore in every corner of the city, including a massive language and cultural exchange at A Seis Manos (October 4), with games, guest speakers, art exhibitions and a pub quiz. Or keep the little ones amused with a great array of children’s movies at Cine Tonala.
Hip Hop al Parque (October 11-13) promises yet again to be a top-notch affair. If that’s not your thing, how about a bit of comedy magic? The Polvos Magic Fest involves four hilarious and talented magicians from Colombia and abroad.
If it’s art you’re after, then look no further than the Emmet Gowin photography exhibition, showcasing some of his most impressive pieces.
