NICHOLAS PETRO, the mayor of Bogota’s son, has been accused of involvement in “irregularities,” prompting his father to ask the Office of the Prosecutor General to investigate, local media reported.
On September 3, legal proceedings were opened against the 27-year-old lawyer in Bogota’s Supreme Court.
According to La Republica newspaper, sources close to Mayor Petro insist that he is doing it to dispel any rumours about the actions of his family and not because he doubts his son’s actions.
