From Bridgend to Bogota, Bullet for my Valentine are set to play in Downtown Majestic on July 17. This will be the group’s second time playing here in Colombia, wowing fans with their unique blend of electric riffs and heavy metal.

Described as “a hard rock band with metal influences” by vocalist Matt Tuck, Bullet have catapulted their unique sound through five albums.

Hailing from the Welsh valleys, the group formed in 1998 under the name ‘Jeff killed John’. Inspired by 1980s and early 90s thrash metal and hard rock, the band released their debut album ‘The Poison’ in 2005.

Bullet for my Valentine’s second studio album ‘Scream Aim Fire’ shortly followed in 2008, prior to 2009’s ‘Temper Temper’. To date, the group has sold over one million albums stateside and a hefty five million albums worldwide.

‘Fever’ topped the Billboard charts in 2010, prompting Tuck, Michael Paget and Michael Thomas to head out on their first Latin American tour. Now the band are back with their newest album ‘Venom’, confirmed for release on August 14. With a new bassist, Jamie Mathias, set to shake up the line-up, Latin America eagerly awaits the group’s fierce sound.

Support band Motionless in White hail from Pennsylvania and bring a unique brand of industrial sounds and gothic mysticism.
